Perhaps it's a way to get patrons to eat their food and move on so that more people can come in and buy food, I don't know. Meanwhile, the piped-in music was really loud so as to make the place unrelaxing. The middle eastern food we got there was amazingly bland. Perhaps because of this we ate at the first place we saw. For one thing, the Pru Food Court somehow enabled you to see every place that was there at a glance, the way it was arranged, whereas at this place, which is darker and grayer, with high tables, you have to walk the entire length of it to know what's there. But I must say I liked the old Pru Food Court that Eataly obliterated much more than this place. Basically a food court, such as we lost when the Pru Center cleared out all the wonderful little places in their food court so that Eataly could move in. It's a big space with lots of different take-out places. Finally, in the neighborhood, we had linner there (lunch/dinner). You must pay with a credit card or phone app.My wife has been wanting to try Time Out Market for a long time.

Be forewarned that if you go there, none of the establishments allow for payment in cash. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Time Out market as did our daughter and her friend. There was live music for part of the time that was there also. We arrived around 12:45 and had a little difficulty finding seating for the four of us. The younger members of our group also got some gelato for dessert. Our daughter also got a pizza from Monti while her friend appeared to get a type of vegan spring rolls. My wife and I split a margherita pizza from Monti. Fortunately we were all able to find something to our liking. My wife and I are omnivores while our daughter is a vegetarian and her friend is a vegan. There are long communal tables in the center of the venue with about 15 different food counters selling various type of food surrounding the seating area. Basically this can be described as an upscale food court. This was our first visit and we plan to return. My wife and I met our college student daughter and her friend for lunch at Time Out Market Boston on a Sunday in January. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval. It was a great dinner because everybody ate what they wanted, and the quality was excellent. After the meal everybody ordered Gelato from the ice cream booth. The alcoholic beverage booth had many cocktail options as well as different wines and beer. My husband headed over to Anoushella for some falafel which I couldn't resist and had a taste and it was delicious. My other son went to the greek booth and had a souvlaki platter. My son went to the pasta booth and had a pasta bowl which he said was very good.

Not your average Burger, it was a delicious gourmet burger with top quality beef, unfortunately they did not have gluten free bun so I ended up eating it without the bun. I wanted a burger so I headed to NU Burger. We were a party of 4, and each one of us ended up having their food from a different booth. There are about 6-7 booths to pick your food from and they range in cuisine. It is a big hall, with outdoor and indoor seating, appropriately arranged for social distancing.
